MegaKC Partners with Northland Assistance Center to Support Families in Clay and Platte Counties

MegaKC is proud to announce a new partnership with the Northland Assistance Center (NAC), strengthening our commitment to supporting families and individuals across the Kansas City Northland community. Through this collaboration, MegaKC will help advance NAC’s mission of providing critical assistance programs to residents in Clay and Platte counties facing financial hardship. As a trusted nonprofit organization serving the Northland for more than 44 years, the Northland Assistance Center continues to play a vital role in helping local families access essential resources including food assistance, rent support, and utility aid.

Over the past year, the Northland Assistance Center provided more than $253,000 in assistance to 1,629 households throughout the region. MegaKC’s partnership will help support these ongoing community outreach efforts while reinforcing the company’s commitment to community involvement, local partnerships, and giving back across the Kansas City metro. By investing in organizations like NAC, MegaKC and its employee-owners are helping strengthen the communities where they live and work while supporting neighbors experiencing economic challenges.

As part of the partnership, MegaKC is also proud to support NAC’s Annual Turkey Drive, helping provide Thanksgiving meals to local families in need. MegaKC will donate 75 turkey dinners for distribution through the Northland Assistance Center’s drive-through holiday event. On November 26, MegaKC employee-owners will assemble and prepare the meals for distribution, helping ensure families across Clay and Platte counties can enjoy a meaningful Thanksgiving holiday. Through partnerships like this, MegaKC remains dedicated to supporting community organizations that make a lasting impact throughout the Kansas City region.
