It is with great pride and excitement that we announce Tyler Wesselman’s promotion to President of MegaKC.
When Tyler joined us in 2010 as an intern fresh out of UCM, we had no idea how transformative his impact would be. His background working with bridge crews during college and growing up around his family’s concrete business gave him a solid foundation, but it was his incredible work ethic, humility, and vision that set him apart.
Six years ago, we recognized his potential by promoting him to Executive VP and organizing our operations around his leadership. During this time, we’ve grown from 20 to 75 employee-owners, and Tyler has been instrumental in positioning MegaKC for exciting opportunities ahead.
What truly sets Tyler apart is how he embodies our core values of Safety, Quality, Community, and Freedom. His leadership style combines technical excellence with genuine care for our employee-owners and commitment to our mission. The trust and accountability he’s built within our exceptional leadership team has created a foundation for sustainable growth.
Brian Gordon will continue to serve as CEO and Chairman of the Board but shift his focus towards supporting Tyler and the leadership team, providing counsel rather than handling day-to-day operations.
