Sunnyside Avenue Reconstruction

MegaKC was proud to be selected for the reconstruction of Sunnyside Avenue, located in the heart of the University of Kansas campus. The project included full-depth roadway replacement with new concrete pavement, ADA-compliant sidewalks, curbs, upgraded utilities, structural concrete walls and stair systems, and enhanced landscaping.Given the high-traffic campus environment and the critical academic calendar, meeting the aggressive schedule was key. Our team leveraged extensive preplanning, proactive coordination, and constructability reviews to ensure efficient sequencing of work, minimized campus disruption, and on-time delivery.This project not only improved campus infrastructure but also showcased MegaKC’s ability to perform under pressure in complex environments.
