North Kansas City Gateway Signage

This landmark streetscape project serves as a key gateway to North Kansas City, prominently located along Armour Road. Designed to create a welcoming and visually striking entrance to the city, the project centered around the construction of a new monument feature that reflects the community’s identity and growth.

MegaKC's scope of work included selective demolition of existing site features, followed by precise grading to prepare for new structural and aesthetic improvements. Landscaping elements were carefully integrated to soften the monument setting and provide year-round visual interest. The placement phase involved the installation of concrete foundations and structural supports for the monument itself, as well as decorative hardscaping to unify the streetscape with surrounding city infrastructure.

The project enhances both the aesthetic appeal and civic pride of North Kansas City, offering a refreshed entry point for residents, visitors, and commuters. As a contractor, MegaKC collaborated closely with local officials and design partners to ensure that the finished product aligns with the city's long-term vision for placemaking and community development.
