Green Infrastructure - Mill Creek Park

Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) refers to project elements designed to manage stormwater by capturing, filtering, and infiltrating rainfall before it enters traditional drainage systems. These features complement conventional catch basins and pipes, and may include rain gardens, bioretention areas, infiltration trenches, permeable pavement, extended detention wetlands, wet and dry detention basins, subsurface storage, green or blue roofs, cisterns, pretreatment systems, and other specialized manufactured solutions.
