Koi/Alligator Pond and Train Barn

Construction Manager @ Risk to a two-part project at the Kansas City Zoo that was designed by SFS Architecture Inc. Part 1 was the construction of an Alligator Habitat utilizing half of the existing Koi Pond. A new CMU building with two separate rooms with heated pools. Pool filtration, keeper area with keeper talks platform, glass fence barrier, new concrete sidewalks and driveways and landscaping. 

Part 2 was the demolition and replacement of the train barn with a Pre Engineered Metal Building. The new train barn included; office areas, restrooms, breakroom, storage and maintenance shop for train and cart maintenance and repair.
