The Fallen Officer Memorial is a place of honor, remembrance, and reflection for the brave officers and firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty. It stands as a lasting testament to their courage and sacrifice, offering families, colleagues, and the community a space to gather, grieve, and celebrate their legacy. It reminds us of the selflessness required to serve and ensures future generations understand the gratitude owed to those who protect North Kansas City.

Delivered under the Construction Manager as Advisor method, the project reflected deep community pride, with all contractors, suppliers, and labor sourced locally. Every hand from granite craftspeople to electricians and metal fabricators brought skill and personal connection, ensuring collaboration and shared purpose. MegaKC’s scope included demolition, ADA upgrades, utility coordination, brick pavers, benches, and a new concrete plaza. This project honors public service, enhances accessibility, and creates a civic space that unites and inspires.
